About Your Coach
THE WHY
In 2007 I was diagnosed with a server arthritic disease called gout. The pain that I was experiencing was unbearable. I had to do something about it, so I did some research, and it pointed to my diet, weight and emotional status. I decided to become as healthy as possible. I stated to work out 5 days a week, eating a well-balanced meal with the proper micronutrients, and added some positive affirmations to my life. It worked! No more pain, I was in the best shape of my life, and this is where it all begins. Fast-forward: I enrolled into Act personal training and nutritional program where I received my pt. and nutritional certifications. I started coaching others in becoming healthier and more successful in life, however I wanted more knowledge, so I enrolled into the Institute for Integrated Nutrition health coaching program for a full year and became a certified holistic health coach.
I knew it was my destiny to help others improve their overall health holistically, so I wanted more knowledge. In 2015 attended the University of North Texas where I received a Bachelor of Science. In 2017 I attended Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego California where I received my master’s and doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
So, there you have it, a knowledgeable coach who is well diverse in the healing of the whole person, mind, body and soul.
With my knowledge, you and I can create completely personalized actions to reach your goals. We can work towards your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.
As your health coach I will act as your guide, coach and accountability partner as you work on improving your health and lifestyle. Although I have learned numerous dietary theories at the nutrition school, the course adopts a neutral stance towards all dietary theories and places a huge emphasis on bio-individuality. In other words, I believe in my clients’ ability to heal themselves and not to rely on any dietary theory.
I want to help people feel better, more energized, happier and satisfied with their lives, not only with the food they put into their mouths, which is secondary, but more importantly with their primary foods such as relationships, career, physical activities and spirituality. I want their minds to feel well-rested, their bodies fed, and their souls nourished, so that they are prepared to take on the challenges in life, to give their best at work, to have the energy to spend quality time with their families and friends, to set a good example for their children, and most importantly to give back to themselves.
Remember, Compassion Comes from The Heart

i believe, kevon johnson would be an outstanding practitioner in the field of medicine based on the following 3 reasons:
kevon is a very dedicated individual and i have known him for 5 years, on a personal level, and i have worked with him, on a business level, for the last 4 years.
i believe, being a practitioner requires a large amount of honesty, ethics and most of all nurturing.
no matter how knowledgeable a practitioner maybe from an educational stand point, he must exemplify that special inner quality called compassion.
